So Kristian is sick again :( I have to take him to PMH shortly which really upsets me as he has been there 6 times now due to colds and flus and last time his lung collapsed and was put on oxygen. I love my little man so much but I really wish e could just stay healthy and well for more than a week!
woohoo we are so much better off 5k baby bonus, lifted medicare levy, tax cut, 50% child care rebate. plus I get a pay rise on 30th June which means we will be better off 80 bucks a week :P
I have chosen a Winnie the Pooh theme and plan to do fairy bread and all that kinda stuff plus some soft finger foods for the younger ones. I am looking into a small bouncy castle for the older ones and for his bday present was thinking of getting him one of those small plastic gym kits although he will probaby still be too small for it even at 2, any suggestions on stuff like that I can get that will be more age appropriate? I am only inviting ppl with babies/children (apart from grandparents) and I still have about 50 ppl coming Holy Shite!
So ppl have you any ideas on games/food/decorations I should do?

By no means would I be classed as a 'crunchy' mum, I do not cloth diaper nor do I breastfeed anymore (although I did) and cosleeping made me a zombie the next day, but I was a little dumbfounded when I heard on the radio this morning that 29% of women drink whilst pregnant and that 57% of them would drink again in a future pregnancy.
As I said I am not but no means a perfect mum but I really dont understand why women would do that, same with smoking why would you take the slightest sip or puff when you really dont know how harmful that little bit can be. I know a sip/puff doesnt seem a lot but why take the chance when they say even the slightest may be harmful. Maybe I find this disturbing as I dont smoke nor drink normally but I must say I was in shock when I heard the stats on this.

Whats new? Ummmm we still havent finished our backyard :( cause we are lazy and we really dont have that much time at the moment as we both work and we like the weekends with Kristian.
Kristian is good he has 6 teeth now and is walking with his little pusher!! (crazy right) He was 8 months old on the 24th April so I am hoping when we go away in October he will be a runner :P
Oh yeah we are going on holiday :P We are going to Phuket for 10 nights in October which will be nice as I would like to do a bit of shopping plus it mixes things up a little and gives us a break from work. I did up a package and it is costing us $2200 for airfares, accomodation, insurance, breakfasts and transfers for the 3 of us for 10 nights, cool hey :P
Work has been going well we get a pay rise in July so not too far away from that!. I am a little annoyed though as I thought we would get out child care payments and benefits after the tax year but I found out that it is the following year, so really they are behind 12 month :(
Although Kristian's birthday is still 3 and a half months away it has got me thinking what we will be doing. I really dont want anything major but I do want it to be enjoyable so I was thinking a mini bouncy castle or something for the kids old enough and I am buying Kristian a play centre for outside so he will eb able to play in that with the smaller kids.
We had a pregnancy scare the other week, which made me realise I am not mentally, physically or financially ready for another baby quite yet or in the next few months in fact, maybe its watching him get older that I am craving a baby again but I really want him to be ably to stay a baby as long as he wants without being forced to grow up as another baby is on the way. Am I the only crazy mum wanting another baby already? :)

- Kristian 7 months 1 week old (and a few days) is crawling and also in the midst of pulling himself up on things
- Kristian's operation is on Tuesday but he has a cold so that may be cancelled
- We need to finish our laundry side of the house with pebbles
